Gym class heroes are an ok band i would say great but i only like one or two songs. "Cupids Chokehold" was a big hit when it came out and it was a good song so i'll give them props on that one. Travis McCoy is the lead singer of the band. He was arrested in July of 2008 on assault, the band was in the middle of their tour in St. Louis when someone in the audience made a racist comment to Travis. Security was already taking him out when Travis started hitting him in the head with his microphone. Travis called him up on stage will the concert was on with no intention of it getting physical. While Travis tried to help him up on stage the guy hit him in the knee area. Travis just defended himself and that's when it all got out of control. Travis did apologize to the crowd and was released 24 hour after on $500 bail for assault of a fan.
